Another great dining experience with great food, drinks & service. Enjoyed their plentiful cod dinner with a slice of fresh warm bread, Cole slaw & hearty chicken noodle soup. The group also had sweet potato fries & chicken wings. Also tried Little Soldier beer made by Green Bay's Ahnnapee Brewery. Very yummy!
We had a great time today at the Tiki Bar. There was awesome live music, a perfect crowd, great drinks and very friendly and efficient bartenders. Not to even mention the food!! I would highly recommend and will definetly return.
Shiocton has little going for it, but this place is nice to have in a small town. Great pizza, does take out, can even get your pizza unbaked if you like. The all you can eat fish is always good, with that big slab of fresh bread on top. Service is good, clientele is familiar and friendly. This isn't a fancy eatin' place. Its a small town hangout with a deck and music in the summer.
Great place to pop in for lunch or dinner. Right off main road, right on river. Prompt service and drinks. Bloody Mary was excellent, hit the spot perfectly. Bar tender was friendly and waitress was hustling. Got a chicken wrap and it was very good. Cabbage soup was decent. For small town diners though you can't do better. Would recommend.
The River Rail is a gem. I've been going for 25 years since we hunt in the area. It was recently purchased by a young couple who have vowed to keep things mostly the same. Drinks are cheap, the bar is always hopping and the food is very good. They have walleye and perch on the menu and I would rival their fish fry against any restaurant in the fox valley. Bartenders are friendly and while there are plenty of locals there, newcomers are welcome to belly up to the bar. Hot tip- try the sauerkraut pizza.
